Jason R. Pavelka, DDS, MD

Education: B.S., Texas A&M University; D.D.S., with honors Baylor College of Dentistry; M.D., Texas Tech School of Medicine; General Surgery Internship, Methodist Medical Center in Dallas, TX; Oral Surgery Residency, Baylor University Medical Center

Dr. Pavelka limits his scope of practice to surgery of the face, head and neck, specializing in procedures including wisdom teeth extraction, dental implants, bone grafting, head and neck pathology, trauma and facial reconstructive surgery, and facial cosmetic procedures.

Dr. Pavelka has been in private practice since 2004 and has been board certified with the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery since 2006. Dr. Pavelka strives to provide comfortable, safe, and predictable treatment to patients in a timely manner. In addition, he prefers to educate patients about conditions and procedures to give them a better understanding of their treatment options and alleviate anxiety they may have.

Dr. Pavelka has hospital privileges at Presbyterian Hospital of Plano, Richardson Regional Medical Center, Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano, and Surgery Center of Plano. He is a member of the Dallas County Dental Society, Dallas County Medical Society, American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, Texas Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, Southwest Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Medical Association, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and theTexas Medical Association.
